Join our full-day Dog First Aid Course hosted by The Dog Coaches and delivered by certified pet first aid providers, Allwinds Dog First Aid. This practical, hands-on course is designed specifically for both dog owners and dog professionals who want confidence in real emergency situations.

 

Who Is This Dog First Aid Course For?

This canine first aid training is ideal for both pet owners and dog professionals.

 

If you’re a professional:

  • Course is taught by a qualified veterinary nurse

  • Graduates receive a certificate of attendance that is valid for 3 years

  • Fully complies with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and The Animal Welfare Act 2006.

  • CPR skills are taught to the RECOVER 2012 guidelines.

  • Approved by NARCH (National Association of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists)

 

If you’re a pet owner:

You don’t need any prior experience or medical knowledge to attend. Everything is explained clearly and practically, in a supportive and friendly environment. Whether you simply want peace of mind on walks, on holidays, or at home, this course is designed to give any dog lover the confidence to handle an emergency calmly and effectively.

  • Primary Survey

  • CPR

  • Bleeding

  • Drowning

  • Heatstroke

  • Burns

  • Seizures

  • Traffic Accidents

  • And more!

 

Do I bring my dog?

No dogs attend this course. Training is delivered through demonstration and practical exercises.

Held at Headley Park Community Centre, Bristol, BS13

The course will be held at a comfortable, accessible local community centre.

  • Free parking outside the venue and on street nearby

  • Easy access from surrounding areas

  • Indoor training space

  • Refreshments provided (tea, coffee etc.)

Lunch is not provided, so please bring a packed lunch with you.
